Nothing is better than a good old fashioned family vacation!
We, along with my brother's family, Mom & Dad and nephew met up in San Diego for a weekend of fun! We were missing my younger brother and my sister's family. We wish they could have joined us!
I loved seeing the cousins together. My niece and Nick were attached to each other, basically the entire time. Both of these kids are so sweet, and obviously very affectionate! :)
Cousins & Candy!?!?! Makes everything fun, right!?!?!
Whenever we go to San Diego, we always visit the
LDS San Diego Temple!
This Temple is so beautiful, from the inside to the outside, it is breathtaking!
A new place we visited this time around was the Mormon Battalion.
This was so fun for the kids and adults! I loved learning more about the Mormon history. It's amazing to see the Lord's hand in everything!
Here is Grandpa and Sophia panning for Gold!
We visited this fun candy store, where the kids were like "Kids in a Candy Store!" Happy as can be!
Another fun place in San Diego to stop at is the Children's Pool. Here is where you can see (and smell) hundred's of Seals, bathing in the sun, and swimming in the ocean.
It is a site to see! Just make sure to bring you nose plugs, it smells awful!
Legoland was our biggest stop of the trip! It was a fun place to visit, with all thing LEGO! The kids loved seeing all the models, going on rides, and eating lots of goodies!
Our last stop was Seaport Village. It was a busy day at the village. There was lots of street vendors and performers. It was fun walking around and watching them all!
Nick and Sophia love riding the Carousel. Happy Kids!
With such a busy lifestyle we lead, it's very important to sit back, relax and PLAY as much as we can. We feel grateful that we live in a world where Play is encouraged!
